Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a great location for travelers, just a short walk from the seafront and town center. The rooms, although a bit dated and without breakfast, offer comfortable beds, TV, Wi-Fi, and a teatray with biscuits. However, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. The service, especially from housekeeping, was satisfactory. The dining experience was excellently presented while lacking breakfast. The facilities met expectations. Overall, a convenient stop during travel.
The hotel is perfectly situated just a short walk from the seafront and town center. The rooms, although needing some shower mould cleaning in the bathroom, were quiet and wouldn't deter me from staying again. The breakfast was very nice offering cereals and a full English. The bar was perfect to sit and relax, and the rooms were spacious and clean. At a reasonable price, this hotel is great for visiting Carlisle and the Lakes.
I found the hotel to be a bit of a mixed bag. While the location was convenient for my needs and the rooms were clean, the lack of proper heating made my stay quite uncomfortable. On the upside, the straightforward rooms can be upgraded with additional toiletries at a reasonable cost.
